CS/SB 1034: Mental Health/Involuntary Exam

GENERAL BILL by Health Care ; Rich ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Campbell

Mental Health/Involuntary Exam; provides & revises definitions; provides that marriage & family therapist may execute certificate for involuntary examination; provides that said therapist or mental health counselor may deem services treatment plan clinically appropriate for involuntary outpatient placement; requires that documentation of any evaluation performed by said therapist or said counselor be provided when patient is ordered for such placement. Amends 394.455,.463,.4655,.467.
