SB 1250: Use of Social Security Numbers

GENERAL BILL by Margolis

Use of Social Security Numbers; requires agencies to redact social security numbers prior to disposal of records; prohibits use of such numbers on insurance identification cards; prohibits use of such numbers to obtain certain goods or services except as legally required; prohibits use of such numbers on certain information sent by mail; authorizes Attorney General or state attorney to bring suit & collect civil penalties, etc. Amends FS.
