CS/HB 1521: Children in Out-of-home Placements

GENERAL BILL by Barreiro

Children in Out-of-home Placements; provides that court must be provided with name & location of individual who might be considered for placement of child; provides for evidentiary hearing when there is objection to placement of child; provides for consideration of certain factors in determining whether best interest of child will be served by transferring custody of child when child has resided in same out-of-home placement for more than 1 year, etc. Amends Ch. 39, 63.082,.120.80.
