SB 160: Termination of Parental Rights
GENERAL BILL by Lynn
Termination of Parental Rights; provides that parental rights of person incarcerated in state or federal correctional institution may be terminated if period of time for which parent has been & is expected to be incarcerated will constitute substantial portion of time before child attains age of 18 years; reenacts provisions re circumstances for which parental rights of person may be terminated & shared parental responsibility, etc. Amends 39.806; reenacts 39.811(6), 61.13(2)(b).
