SB 1732: Children in Out-of-home Placements
GENERAL BILL by Rich
Children in Out-of-home Placements; provides that rebuttable presumption arises to continue placement with custodian of child in such placement as in best interest of child if child has resided in same such placement for more than 1 year & custodian is eligible to be permanent custodian; provides that presumption is not rebutted solely by expressed wishes of parent or by placing child with person who is biologically related to child, etc. Amends 39.522, 63.082, 120.80.
