SB 2308: Installment Loans

GENERAL BILL by Atwater

Installment Loans; authorizes licensee under Florida Consumer Finance Act to impose acquisition charge & handling charge for installment loans of specified amount or less; provides certain limitations on amount of handling charge; requires that portion of handling charge be refunded or credited to borrower if loan is prepaid in full; provides method for calculating refund; limits number of installment loans made to same borrower, etc. Creates 516.033.
