CS/SB 2332: Gross Receipts Taxes/Manufacturing

GENERAL BILL by Communications and Public Utilities ; Dockery

Gross Receipts Taxes/Manufacturing; provides tax exemption for electricity sold to manufacturers, after specified amount in tax has been paid in calendar year, to extent that tax savings are invested in energy conservation measures as specified; provides for calculation of exemption; authorizes DOR to adopt rules re refund procedures; requires that such refunds be paid from general revenue; provides for retroactivity; provides for future repeal, etc. Amends 203.01.
