SB 2596: Schools of Excellence Act
GENERAL BILL by Wise
Schools of Excellence Act; creates said act; establishes Fla. Schools of Excellence Office; provides powers & duties of office, including power to authorize establishment of charter schools, to review & approve or deny applications for designation as FSE charter school, & to review performance of such schools; provides that FSE charter schools are public schools & are components of state education system; provides for performance-based bonus system, etc. Creates 1002.331.
