SB 590: Emergency Management Powers/Governor
GENERAL BILL by Posey
Emergency Management Powers/Governor; provides construction re authority of Governor to seize, take, or confiscate firearms in event of emergency beyond local control; reenacts specified provision re authority of Governor to utilize specified emergency management powers to carry out emergency actions required by serious shortage of energy sources under energy emergency contingency plan of DEP, for purpose of incorporating amendment, etc. Amends 252.36, 870.044; reenacts 377.703(3)(a).
