SB 614: Medical Malpractice Fund
GENERAL BILL by Geller
Medical Malpractice Fund; creates Florida Medical Malpractice Insurance Fund; provides for governance by board of governors; requires board to submit plan of operation for approval by Office of Insurance Regulation; provides investment requirements; provides immunity from liability for members of board, its agents, & employees of state; provides for fund to issue medical malpractice policies to any physician, regardless of specialty; provides certain exceptions, etc.
Effective Date: Upon becoming law
