SB 644: Sovereign Immunity Waiver Limitation
GENERAL BILL by Campbell
Sovereign Immunity Waiver Limitation; allows state agency or subdivision to settle & pay judgment in amount that exceeds limits on waiver, without requiring claim bill, if both parties agree to settlement; provides that such settlement or payment does not waive agency's or subdivision's defense of sovereign immunity or increase limits of its liability. Amends 768.28.
