HB 7219: Sovereign Immunity
GENERAL BILL by Judiciary Committee ; Simmons
Sovereign Immunity; provides that no contract of state or its agencies or subdivisions may waive sovereign immunity for tortious conduct of state or its agencies or subdivisions beyond limitations of legislative waiver of sovereign immunity except as expressly provided by general law; declares contractual provisions in violation to be void; provides that bill is remedial. Amends 768.28.
