GENERAL BILL by Claims Committee ; Quinones

Wrongful Incarceration/Compensation; provides that person who has been wrongfully convicted of felony offense & incarcerated within DOC as result of that conviction may be financially compensated if determined to be actually innocent; provides conditions which constitute ineligibility for compensation under act; provides for legislative redress of disputes; requires executed release & waiver as condition precedent to tender of payment, etc.
