GENERAL BILL by Judiciary ; Wilson ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Miller ; Lawson ; Hill
HIV Infection/Testing of Inmates; authorizes counties & municipalities to participate in program to test each inmate for HIV before inmate is released if inmate's HIV status is unknown; requires that certain county & municipal detention facilities notify DOH & county health dept. in county where inmate plans to reside following release if inmate is HIV positive; provides that informed consent is not required before inmate's release from said facility, etc. Amends 951.27, 381.004.
