Patient Handling & Moving Practices; requires hospitals & nursing homes to adopt & implement safe patient handling & moving policy & providing requirements thereof; provides for incorporation of patient handling & moving equipment into certain architectural plans for construction or remodeling of hospital or nursing home or units thereof; provides certain protection for employees of hospitals & nursing homes who report certain violations, etc. Creates 381.029; amends 395.701.
