CS/HB 1347: Tower Crane/Tower Crane Operator Certification
GENERAL BILL by Jobs & Entrepreneurship Council ; Evers ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Meadows ; Carroll
Tower Crane/Tower Crane Operator Certification; requires tower crane to be certified in order to be operated; requires person to be certified in order to operate said crane on construction projects; prohibits certain contractors from employing or contracting for services of tower crane operators without certification; provides penalties; provides rulemaking authority for DBPR; preempts regulation of said cranes & said operators to state, etc. Creates 489.1138,.1139.
Effective Date: Upon becoming law except as otherwise provided
