SB 1466: Affordable Housing/Ad Valorem Taxes [RPCC]

GENERAL BILL by Margolis

Affordable Housing/Ad Valorem Taxes [RPCC]; authorizes county comm. or municipality to adopt ordinance providing for deferral of said taxes for affordable rental housing under certain conditions; provides that taxes, assessments, & interest deferred constitute prior lien on property; requires that applicant furnish proof of certain ins. coverage under certain conditions; requires property appraiser to notify tax collector of changes in ownership or use of tax-deferred properties, etc.
