SB 1806: Court Costs/Drug Court Programs [SPCC]

GENERAL BILL by Posey

Court Costs/Drug Court Programs [SPCC]; authorizes counties to provide by ordinance for funding of drug court programs through assessment of additional mandatory court cost; provides for assessment to be imposed against persons who plead guilty or no contest to, or are convicted of, certain drug-abuse prevention & control provisions or certain local ordinances or uniform traffic control laws involving alcohol or other substance use or abuse, etc. Creates 938.20.
