GENERAL BILL by Government Efficiency & Accountability Council ; Holder ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Hasner ; Vana ; Reagan
Tax Credits/Worthless Credit Cards; authorizes dealers to take certain credits or obtain refund of taxes paid for worthless private label credit card accounts; provides for phased application; provides for remittances of taxes collected on such accounts; requires dealers & lenders to file joint election to receive credit or refund; provides recordkeeping requirements; provides for future repeal unless reviewed & saved from repeal by reenactment, etc. Amends 212.17.
