Optional Foster Care Pilot Program [SPCC]; requires DCFS to create pilot program in Miami-Dade Co. to provide continued foster care until participants reach age of 21 years; requires that circuit court select participants; requires periodic administration to participants of independent living assessment tool; requires DCFS to submit report to court; requires selection of cohort group for purpose of comparing results; requires reports to Legislature; provides for expiration of program, etc. APPROPRIATION: $500,000.
