GENERAL BILL by Health and Human Services Appropriations ; Children, Families, and Elder Affairs ; Wilson ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Lynn

Qualifying Adoptive Parents/Benefits [RPCC]; expands monetary benefit paid to employees who adopt special needs children & children in custody of state to include employees of state universities, community colleges, & school districts; authorizes DCFS to administer program; provides for parental leave; provides for application & eligibility procedures; provides for transfer of funding from dept. to nonstate public entities, etc. Creates 409.1663; repeals certain FS.
