SPB 7044: Professional Sports Franchises

PROPOSED BILL by Transportation and Economic Development Appropriations

Professional Sports Franchises; requires Tourism, Trade, & Economic Development office to screen applicants for state funding under specified provision & certify facility as eligible for funding as facility for said franchise; prohibits facility from receiving more than one certification for any said franchise; provides for amounts to be distributed to certified facilities under act; provides timeframe for such distributions, etc. Creates 288.11635; amends 212.20, 288.1169.
