PROPOSED BILL by Children, Families, and Elder Affairs
Mental Health/Substance Abuse Svcs.; authorizes DCFS to establish facilities that provide services as integrated adult mental health crisis stabilization unit & substance abuse addiction receiving facility; eliminates requirement that providers of said services must be under contract with DCFS; adds DCFS as medical review committee to evaluate provision of mental health services provided in certain facilities, etc. Creates 394.4996; amends 409.906, 766.101.
Effective Date: Upon becoming law
