PROPOSED BILL by Children, Families, and Elder Affairs
Children & Family Services Dept.; revises provisions re adoption of children with special needs; distinguishes between subsidies & adoption assistance; eliminates requirement that parent or caretaker relative receiving food stamps or temporary cash assistance cooperate with child support enforcement program; provides that DCFS may waive recovery of Medicaid overpayments that are caused by error on part of DCFS, etc. Amends 110.152, 409.166, 414.41, 409.2572; repeals 414.32(1).
