HB 27-A: Hurricane Preparedness/Property Ins.

GENERAL BILL by Allen

Hurricane Preparedness/Property Ins.; prohibits Fla. Building Commission from modifying certain foundation codes re wind resistance or prevention of water intrusion unless modification enhances such provisions; prohibits insurer from transacting business in this state if it fails to offer line of business in this state that is offered in another state; provides for development of uniform statewide rating scale & inspection system for properties, etc. Amends Chs. 553, 627, 624.404.
