CS/SB 42-C: Pub. Rec./Motor Vehicle Insurance [EPCC]

PUBLIC RECORDS/GENERAL BILL by Banking and Insurance ; Posey

Pub. Rec./Motor Vehicle Insurance [EPCC]; Creates a public-records exemption for certain information held by the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles which concerns a person insured or formerly insured by a personal injury protection or property damage liability insurance policy. Provides for retroactive application of the exemption. Provides for future review and repeal of the exemption under the OGSR Act. Provides a statement of public necessity, etc.
