SB 1188: Dating Violence [LPCC]

GENERAL BILL by Dean ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Lynn

Dating Violence [LPCC]; Cites this act as the "Barwick-Ruschak Act." Revises provisions relating to dating violence incidents to provide requirements for investigations, notice to victims, and reporting similar to those for incidents of domestic violence and to apply certain immunity provisions thereto. Provides that a willful violation of the conditions of pretrial release when the original arrest was for an act of dating violence is a first degree misdemeanor, etc.
