SB 1266: Electronic Wireless Communications Devices/Driving [EPCC]
GENERAL BILL by Bennett
Electronic Wireless Communications Devices/Driving [EPCC]; Prohibits the operation of a motor vehicle while reading, manually writing or typing, or sending a message on an electronic wireless communications device. Provides that this provision does not apply to a person operating an emergency vehicle or using the device to report illegal activity, summon medical or other emergency help, or to prevent injury to a person or property, etc.
