GENERAL BILL by Wilson
Juvenile Proceedings/Use of Restraints on a Child [LPCC]; Prohibits the use of instruments of restraint, such as handcuffs, chains, irons, or straitjackets, on a child during court proceedings or elsewhere in a courthouse. Provides exceptions. Requires the Department of Juvenile Justice to comply with the Protective Action Response policy whenever mechanical restraints are used, etc.
