GENERAL BILL by Criminal and Civil Justice Appropriations ; Criminal Justice ; Dockery

Correctional Policies [LPCC]; Creates the Correctional Policy Advisory Council within the Legislature and a Justice Reinvestment Subcommittee within the council. Requires the council to evaluate correctional policies, justice reinvestment initiatives, and laws affecting or applicable to corrections. Requires that recommendations be consistent with specified goals. Requires the council's abolition on July 1, 2011, etc.
