GENERAL BILL by Health and Human Services Appropriations ; Storms

Foster Care/Independent Living Transition Services [SPCC]; Authorizes group home provider agencies and residential agencies to prepare and implement developmental plans for children in their care. Requires the Independent Living Services Advisory Council to research and advise the Department of Children and Family Services and the Legislature on specific methods to reduce the number of youth in foster care who attain the age of 18 and do not acquire a high school diploma or its equivalent, etc.
