PROPOSED BILL by Health Regulation
Emergency Services and Care Access; Clarifies legislative intent regarding followup treatment after a patient is stabilized. Authorizes the transmission of a patient's medical records to another emergency department prior to the transfer of a patient. Authorizes the Agency for Health Care Administration to adopt rules to facilitate a hospital's compliance with its requirement to provide emergency care, etc.
