SB 980: Tribal-state Gaming Compacts [EPCC]

GENERAL BILL by Geller

Tribal-state Gaming Compacts [EPCC]; Designates the Governor as the state official to negotiate and execute tribal-state gaming compacts with federally recognized Indian tribes. Provides for ratification of such executed compacts by a majority vote of the Legislature and for submission of the compacts to the Secretary of State. Requires the Secretary of State to forward a copy of an executed compact and the ratifying act to the United States Secretary of the Interior, etc.
