CS/SB 1126: Investor Protection [CPSC]

GENERAL BILL by Judiciary ; Richter ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Ring ; Storms ; Oelrich ; Lynn ; Crist ; Aronberg

Investor Protection [CPSC]; Expands the jurisdiction of the Office of Statewide Prosecution to investigate and prosecute certain additional offenses. Exempts certain transactions involving viatical settlement investments from certain registration requirements. Authorizes the Financial Services Commission to waive certain requirements by rule. Provides that certain actions constitute an immediate and serious danger to the public safety, health & welfare, etc.
