GENERAL BILL by Elder and Family Services Policy Committee ; Wood

Adult Protective Services; Provides for protective services to apply to vulnerable adults; provides for certain suspected abuse cases to be transferred to local county sheriff's office; provides for DCFS to file petition to determine incapacity & guardianship; authorizes DCFS to be provided copies of drivers' license files maintained by DHSMV for purpose of conducting protective investigations.
