GENERAL BILL by Crist
Permitting of Landfills [EPSC]; Prohibits the Department of Environmental Protection from approving an application for the construction or expansion of a Class I landfill if the department finds that the applicant violated state laws or rules during a specified period. Requires the department to conduct a study concerning the location of landfills and report to the Governor and the Legislature by a certain date.
