SB 1336: Discretionary Surtax on Documents

GENERAL BILL by Fasano

Discretionary Surtax on Documents; Deletes provisions relating to funding housing assistance for low-income and moderate-income families. Authorizes counties to levy a discretionary surtax on documents for the purpose of financing school and transportation facilities. Increases the types of documents to which the surtax applies to include documents relating to single-family residences. Requires counties that levy the discretionary surtax to reduce certain impact fees, etc.
