GENERAL BILL by Education Pre-K - 12 Appropriations ; Judiciary ; Criminal Justice ; Education Pre-K - 12 Appropriations ; Wise ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Sobel ; Bullard

Zero-tolerance Policies/Schools [SPSC]; Requires that a district school board having a policy authorizing corporal punishment as a form of discipline review its policy on said punishment at specified intervals. Provides that zero-tolerance policies do not require the reporting of petty acts of misconduct and misdemeanors to a law enforcement agency. Encourages school districts to use alternatives to expulsion or referral to law enforcement agencies, etc.
