SB 1654: Hoisting Equipment/Construction Contracting [CPSC]

GENERAL BILL by Altman

Hoisting Equipment/Construction Contracting [CPSC]; Provides for the regulation of hoisting equipment used in construction, demolition, or excavation work. Requires that an applicant for a building permit for construction, demolition, or excavation work involving the use of a tower crane or mobile crane submit certain information to the local building official. Requires that a hurricane or high-wind preparedness plan be available for inspection under certain circumstances, etc.

Effective Date: Upon becoming law
