CS/CS/SB 1796: Governmental Financial Information [WPSC]

GENERAL BILL by Governmental Oversight and Accountability ; Policy and Steering Committee on Ways and Means ; Alexander ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Haridopolos ; Aronberg ; Gaetz ; Storms ; Altman ; Oelrich

Governmental Financial Information [WPSC]; Directs the Legislative Auditing Committee to provide oversight and management of a state website providing information on governmental appropriations and expenditures. Creates the "Transparency Florida Act." Requires the Executive Office of the Governor to establish a website providing information relating to each appropriation in the General Appropriations Act, etc.
