SB 2234: Judicial System [SPSC]

GENERAL BILL by Siplin

Judicial System [SPSC]; Clarifies which common and statute laws of England in effect on July 4, 1776, are not inconsistent with the Constitution and laws of the United States and acts of the Legislature. Requires that an annual report concerning the recruitment and retention of minorities and women within the judicial system be submitted to the Governor, the Cabinet, and the Legislature. Requires the Supreme Court to implement a plan for promoting civics education, etc.
