SB 2280: Workers' Compensation [CPSC]

GENERAL BILL by Gelber

Workers' Compensation [CPSC]; Deletes provisions prohibiting payments for services in connection with a worker's compensation claim which are not approved by a judge of compensation claims. Deletes provisions prohibiting such judge from approving the payment of attorney's fees in excess of certain amounts. Provides that ch. 440, F.S., does not impair the right of a claimant to contract with an attorney, etc.
