GENERAL BILL by Dean
Clean Energy/Clean Portfolio Standards Act [EPSC]; Requires each electric utility to ensure that at least 20 percent of all retail electric sales be derived from clean energy by a specified date. Requires public utilities to give priority to entities that produce clean energy in this state when purchasing electricity. Encourages electric utilities in this state to pursue the joint-ownership of nuclear power plants, etc.
