GENERAL BILL by Baker
Department of Management Services [GPSC]; Substantially revises responsibilities of the DMS with respect to the use and management of state-owned office buildings and the lease of privately owned buildings by the state. Provides that the DMS has exclusive authority over, and is the primary contact point and managing agent for, existing and future leases to a state agency. Provides for the right of the DMS to direct an agency to occupy a specific location, etc.
Effective Date: 07/01/2009 except as otherwise provided
