SB 2618: Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission [EPSC]

GENERAL BILL by Constantine

Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission [EPSC]; Requires the FWC rather than the DOR to distribute a specified sum from the Invasive Plant Control Trust Fund to eradicate melaleuca. Provides that the commission has the authority to enforce statutes relating to aquatic weeds and plants. Authorizes an investigating law enforcement agency to dispose of illegally taken wildlife, freshwater fish, or saltwater fish in certain specified ways. Provides for the disposition of furs and hides, etc.

Effective Date: 07/01/2009 except as otherwise provided
