SB 2616: Inmate Re-entry to the Workforce [SPSC]
GENERAL BILL by Joyner
Inmate Re-entry to the Workforce [SPSC]; Requires that an offender's postsentence intake include a vocational assessment. Authorizes the DOC to issue photographic identification cards to all inmates immediately prior to release. Requires acceptance of such cards by state agencies. Requires the DOC to develop partnerships with the Florida Community College System to secure vocational training and potential financial aid for releasees, etc.
