GENERAL BILL by Regulated Industries ; Constantine ; Baker

Construction Contracting [CPSC]; (THIS BILL COMBINES S674 & S1422) Requires that owners of property acting as their own contractor and providing direct, onsite supervision of all work not performed by licensed contractors read and sign a disclosure statement before a permit is issued. Provides that certain individuals or business organizations may not be considered unlicensed for failure to have a required local jurisdiction license. Provides for retroactive application, etc.
