SB 7028: Small Claims Process

PROPOSED BILL by Judiciary

Small Claims Process; Increases certain fees for filing a civil action in county court. Eliminates the filing fee for reopening a small claims suit, action, or proceeding. Encourages the Florida Supreme Court to study the feasibility of increasing the current limit on the amount in controversy in a small claims action, etc.
