SB 7058: Mortgage Brokering and Lending
PROPOSED BILL by Banking and Insurance
Mortgage Brokering and Lending; Authorizes the Financial Services Commission to adopt rules relating to compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008. Prohibits unfair and deceptive advertising relating to mortgage brokering and lending. Provides that there is a conflicting interest if a licensee or the licensee's relatives have a 1 percent or more interest in the person providing additional products or services, etc.
Effective Date: 01/01/2010 except as otherwise provided
