GENERAL BILL by Ethics and Elections ; Alexander
Elections [GPSC]; Provides for the preemption of certain matters to the state. Expands the list of responsibilities of the Secretary of State when acting in his or her capacity as chief election officer. Requires that certain first-time voters provide identification before election day. Revises the number of years that an initiative petition is valid. Provides circumstances under which an elector is eligible for a provisional ballot, etc.
